Will Rogers (November 4, 1879 - August 15, 1935), prominent American entertainer and columnist of the early twentieth century, vintage 7 x 9 inch glossy silver print photograph, depicting Eskimos at the scene of the deadly August 15, 1935 airplane crash of Rogers and pilot Wiley Post in Alaska. Printed in the second half of the 20th century as part of the American Heritage Publishing Archive.
Among the most famous American stars of the 1920s and 1930s, Rogers had a wide-ranging career, finding success in vaudeville entertaining, newspaper and magazine writing, social commentary and theater and film acting.
Verso bears credit stampings and notations. Very good condition.
