Italian Architecture, vintage 7 x 9.5 inch silver print fiber photograph depicting The Domus Aurea, Rome. Printed in the second half of the 20th century as part of the American Heritage Publishing Archive. Credited to Tototeca Unione.
The Domus Aurea (Latin, "Golden House") was a large landscaped portico villa built by the Emperor Nero in the heart of ancient Rome, after the great fire in 64 AD had cleared away the aristocratic dwellings on the slopes of the Palatine Hill.
Verso bears credit stampings and filing notations. In very good condition.
