John F. Kennedy & Jacqueline Kennedy

John F. Kennedy (29 May 1917- 22 November 1963),  thirty-fifth President of the United States with First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994), collection of original photography from the 1961 visit from Pakistan President Mohammad Ayub Khan. The focus of the group is the Mount Vernon Dinner party.

The collection includes 9 original candid photographs from the dinner, ranging in size from 4x4 to 7x7. President Kennedy is pictured in photograph with Mrs. Kennedy being pictured in two of the images. (One photo featuring Mr. Kennedy has an irregularly trimmed lower left edge.)

Accompanying the photographs are a number of newspaper clippings for the event. All items were collected and come from the personal estate of Chester V. Clifton, Military Aide to President Kennedy. Clifton is also pictured several of the dinner photographs.

All photographs are in fine condition, some with pencil negative number codes on the reverse and two with original "U.S. Army Photograph, Capt. Cecil W. Stoughton, Sig. Corps, The White House" official stamps on the reverse.
