John & Jacqueline Kennedy

John F. Kennedy (29 May 1917- 22 November 1963),  thirty-fifth President of the United States with First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994), collection relating to their trip to Palm Beach, FL in 1961. The feature of this small group is an original candid photograph of the President and First Lady greeting a number of locals. Jackie is the focal point of the image, wearing an iconic green dress, with President Kennedy partially hidden behind one of the local subjects whom Jackie is shaking hands with.

Accompanying the original candid photograph is a printed article in Spanish about the trip as well as an original photograph of Military Aide Chester Clifton, on the same trip with the Kennedy's. There is also an accompanying letter to Clifton from Dr. Luis Conte Aguero offering thanks for their meeting. All items were collected and come from the personal estate of Chester V. Clifton, Military Aide to President Kennedy.

All items are in fine condition, with both photographs having official photographer stampings on reverse.
