Official printed bulletin of the French Grand Army, authentic, document. This four page document is approximately 8" x 9"  in size and is dated January 11, 1807. It contains very interesting details. These official bulletins were widely spread to the French citizenry informing them of important battles of the French Army as well as other military and political news.

The first page of the bulletin, issued by the printing house of Jusseraud, is headlined "Nouvelles Officielles" or, "Official News". There is also an impressive woodcut on the front page which is a reproduction of Napoleon's Coat of Arms.

The document details the complete route of the Russian Army and the capture of their baggage and artillery. Further, it details how the Arch Chancellor of the Empire had that day received a copy of a letter from Berthier, Minister of War, dated December 26, 1806. It also describes other letters from Warsaw dated December 27, 1806, statign that the Emperor, who was campaigning against the Russians, was in excellent health, whith his army pursuing the enemy after the latest defeat on the Ukra.

This untranslated, printed document is in good to very good condition, with overall light toning not affecting any of the wording. The pages are held together at the left margin affixed to a stock piece of paper.
