Harry Houdini; born Erik Weisz, later Ehrich Weiss or Harry Weiss (March 24, 1874 – October 31, 1926), Hungarian-American illusionist and stunt performer, noted for his sensational escape acts, vintage archive of original glass negatives (10 in total) 3 x 4.5 to 7 x 5 inches, previously unpublished vernacular photography depicting Houdini, seemingly members of his family and friends and even pet dogs.
Overall in very good condition showing light signs of patina and age.
Accompanied by modern prints from eight of the negatives; three modern images of Houdini in shackles or stocks are also present, though associated negatives are not.
