Rockwell Kent

Rockwell Kent (June 21, 1882-March 13, 1971), American painter, printmaker, illustrator, and writer, vintage 3 x 4 inch bookplate. Published circa the 1950's, printed on a quality grade un-gummed rag paper. 

The New York Times described Kent as "... a thoughtful, troublesome, profoundly independent, odd and kind man who made an imperishable contribution to the art of bookmaking in the United States."
