US Navy, vintage 8 x 10 glossy fiber photograph depicting the USS Monterey (CG-61) in January 5, 1893.
USS Monterey (CG-61) is a Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser in the United States Navy. She is the fourth US Navy vessel named for the Battle of Monterrey at Monterrey, Nuevo León during the Mexican-American War in 1846. She was built at Bath Iron Works in Maine.
Printed in the second half of the 20th century as part of the American Heritage Publishing Archive.
Verso bears original filing notations and/or credit stamping. In very good condition.
