Republic of the Sudan, north-east Africa, vintage 8 x 10 inch silver print fiber photograph. Printed in the second half of the 20th century as part of the American Heritage Publishing Archive. Caption on verso reads: "Evidences of iron metallurgy found at Meroe, Nubia, Sudan / left - Lum pf iron slag. Center, Fragment of clay furnace wall, right - a portion of tuyere to which slag still adheres.

Verso bears credit stamping and filing notations. In very good condition.
