Marjorie Rambeau (July 15, 1889 – July 6, 1970), American film and stage actress, vintage, 8 x 10 photograph as Bessie Baxter in the 1943 film 'In Old Oklahoma.'
For her contribution to the motion picture industry, Rambeau has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6336 Hollywood Blvd. According to author and 'New York Mirror' theatre critic Bernard Sobel the Reuben sandwich was invented for Marjorie Rambeau upon a visit to Reuben's Restaurant and Delicatessen in New York City.
The vintage photograph, printed on a gloss stock, is in very good condition with some light wear to its surface, edges and corners. Its verso bears original hand written ID in pencil, else blank and clean.
