Identified as "In the Saidapet district of Madras, Hindus celebrate the religious festival honouring the god Subramaniam. His statute is followed by the statutes of his two wives who are goddesses and by Lord Shiva on the sacred cow Nandi." Credited to the United Nations, January 1963.
