The Marburger Schloss (Marburg castle), a.k.a. Landgrafenschloss Marburg, is a castle in Marburg, Hesse, Germany, located on top of Schlossberg. Built in the 11th century as a fort, it became the first residence of Landgraviate of Hesse. Marburg Colloquy had been held here in 1529.
The building is today used partly as a museum (Marburger Universitätsmuseum für Kulturgeschichte, Wilhelmsbau, since 1981) and as an event site.
Printed in the second half of the 20th century as part of the American Heritage Publishing Archive.
