George du Maurier

George du Maurier (March 6, 1834 - October 8, 1896), notable British cartoonist known for his cartoons in "Punch," vintage silver print W. & D. Downey bust-length portrait photograph. du Maurier was the father of Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and grandfather not only of grandfather of the writers Angela du Maurier and Dame Daphne du Maurier, but of the five boys who inspired J.M. Barrie's classic tale, "Peter Pan."
