Official Samuel Mellor photograph, with identifying sheet affixed to verso: "Bea Wain and Andre Baruch, 'Mr. and Mrs. Music' on WMCA, are both camera fans. She uses a Rolleiflex and he uses a Speed Graphic. He studied photography under Fassbender and at the School of Modern Photography. His wife is best-known as a singer, he as an announcer, but he entered radio as a pianist. They do their own processing and are sometimes embarrassed when people ask for snapshots of their baby - as they rarely make anything smaller than an 11 x 14, they say. They like making gag shots of one another. (From E.M. Kelley - for Music - Photog. article)."
