Charles Cuthbert Hall (1852-1908), Presbyterian Minister and religious author, authentic, autographed vintage handwritten quotation (AQS).

Extracted from the pages of a 1902 Autograph Calendar book recovered from Orange Memorial Hospital, New Jersey, Hall added the following quote to a page with the printed date of February 1: "'Spirit of God, descend upon my heart; / 'Wean it from earth; through all its pulses move; / 'Stoop to my weakness, mighty as Thou are; / 'And make me love Thee as I ought to love.' (The Rev George Croly 1854) / Faithfully Yours: Ch Cuthbert Hall / Union Theological Seminary / New York."

Measuring approximately 7.75 x 5, this autographed quotation is in overall fine condition, with light toning and a rough left edge from extraction.
