Scott Carpenter

Malcolm Scott Carpenter (b. May 1, 1925), former American test pilot, aquanaut and astronaut, autographed stamp sheet. Carpenter is best remembered for his contributions to NASA's Project Mercury, in which he was one of the original seven selected in 1959. He was also the second American to orbit the Earth and the fourth American in space. This original vintage stamp sheet for a Republic de Paraguay stamp featuring John Glenn and Carpenter is autographed by Carpenter and in excellent condition.
