John Hilger

Authentic John Hilger (January 11, 1909, Sherman, Texas - Died February 3, 1982) autographed vintage commemorative first day philatelic cover commemorating 'Charles A. Lindbergh' and 'The Spirit of St. Louis' featuring a '50th Anniversary Solo Transatlantic Flight' 13¢ stamp canceled on May 20th, 1977. Hilger was the pilot of plane #14. He has signed this cover "John A. Hilger Brig Gen. USAF Ret., Doolittle Raider."
