Ellis C. Wackett

Authentic autographed vintage philatelic cover hand signed by Air Vice Marshal Ellis C. Wackett, (April 13, 1901- August 3, 1984), a senior commander in the Royal Australian Air Force. Above his signature, Wackett also wrote "On 27-5-26 I made the first free fall parachute descent in Australia. The aeroplane used was a De Havelland DH9A. The place was Richmond Aerodiome near Sydney Australia."
