E.J. Demas

Authentic autographed commemorative philatelic cover hand signed by E.J. Demas, one of three to reach and rescue Richard Byrd, Byrd Antarctic Expedition II, at Advance Base when Byrd was overcome from improper ventilation August 10, 1934. Demas also served on Byrd's Arctic Expedition and Antarctic Expedition I. The cover his hand signed by E.J. Demas who has also included his handwritten details of trips and dates he made with the expedition.
