Edmund Hillary

Sir Edmund Hillary, authentic, autographed limited edition 11x14 photograph of Hillary during his historic climb of Mount Everest. This large format photograph features the following custom printed quote "...while standing on the top of Everest, I looked across the valley, towards the other great peak, Makalu, and mentally worked out a route about how it could be climbed...it showed me that, even though I was standing on top of the world, it wasn't the end of everything for me, by any means. I was still looking beyond to other interesting challenges." The photograph is individually numbered and is #9 of an edition of only 10. Hillary has hand signed in bold blue felt tip marker during a private signings which JG Autographs, Inc. held directly with him. On May 29th, 1953 at the age of 33, he and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers known to have reached the summit of Mount Everest.
