Robert Grant

Robert Grant (January 24, 1852-May 19, 1940), American turn of the Century author and jurist, authentic, autographed typed letter. While Grant was a highly regarded and noted author he is often times best known as being a jurist who participated in the Sacco and Vanzetti trial just few weeks before their executions. Sacco and Vanzetti were self promoted anarchists on trial for a brutal armed robbery resulting in two murders. This signed letter, which seems to be in response to a review of Grant's work, is dated September 15, 1915 and is in good condition for its age with several mailing folds and a couple slight dings along the upper edge. The letter includes wonderful content including a message from Grant that "Needless to say, this is not for publication, but a private line of grateful, acknowledgement to you."
