Antoine Bartolemy L. Lefevre (b. 1750), French master buidler and cafe owner, authentic, autographed manuscript letter (LS). This two page letter is approximately 7" x 9" in size and is dated February 23, 1802.
Lefvre was a popular master builder and owner of a cafe. His cafe was frequented by many prominent royalists during the early days of the French Revolution. He fell under suspicion and fled France with his family during the Reign of Terror.
This untranslated letter is crisply signed at the conclusion by Lefevre. It is in good to very good condition, with overall light toning not affecting the signature. There are scattered creases, small tears and expected intersecting folds.
