Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (July 28, 1929 – May 19, 1994), wife of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, and First Lady of the United States, retail receipt signed "J. Kennedy," 4 x 6.75, double-matted with a color image of the President and Mrs. Kennedy, including a biographical plaque, framed to 17.25 x 15.5. "Jackie O" became a cultural icon in her own right; her reverence for the arts, personal fashion sense, air of elegance and grace, and career as a book editor with Doubleday elevated her to a status above and beyond that of 'First Lady.' 

"Audit Copy" of a receipt, dated January 19, 1959, from Bonwit Teller in Palm Beach, Florida. Filled out in pencil by a store clerk who has written Mrs. Kennedy’s Palm Beach address “1095 N. Ocean Blvd.,” charge to “Mrs. John F. Kennedy / 230 Park Ave. / New York City,” and her purchase “Bathing Suit Blk” for $28.79. 

Bought in 1933 by Joseph P. Kennedy as a winter vacation spot, 1095 N. Ocean Blvd. in Palm Beach later became the winter house of his son, President John F. Kennedy.
