Wally Yonamine

Wally Yonamine, American baseball Hall of Famer in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball League, authentic autographed album page, clipped from a collector's vintage album page. The page is hand signed in red ink by Yonamine.

The first American to play professionally in Japan following World War II, Yonamine was a member of four Japan Series Championship teams and was Most Valuable Player of the Central League in 1957. He was an 11-time All-Star, 3-time batting champion and the first foreigner to manage in Japan.  Yonamine also played one season as a running back with the San Francisco 49ers.
