Chester Clifton

Chester Clifton Jr. (September 24, 1913 – December 23, 1991), former Major General in the United States Army and military aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, authentic autographed flight certificate. Additionally signed by the Chief Presidential Helicopter Pilot, U.S. Army.

Reads in full: "Flight Certificate - This is to certify that Mrs. Chester V. Clifton has flown in a US Army helicopter from the South grounds of the White House. Given this 1st day of December, 1962 at the White House."

General Clifton was an integral part of the Kennedy administration and was responsible for daily intelligence briefings for the President as well as being in the motorcade in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 when Kennedy was shot. 

Framed with a finished size of 10 x 13 inches. In very good condition.
