Benjamin Lincoln (January 24, 1733 - May 9, 1810), first United States Secretary of War and major general in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, authentic autographed partially printed, partially hand-written legal document (ADS), dated October 20th, 1805. An import document for a Cask of Wine.
During the Revolutionary War, Lincoln was involved in the Battle of Saratoga, and the Siege of Charleston, and was also George Washington's second in command when he formally accepted the British surrender at Yorktown.
Approximately 5.25" x 9.5" in size. Expected light aging, otherwise very good condition.
