Ralph Connor

Rev. Dr. Charles William Gordon, or Ralph Connor, (September 13, 1860 – October 31, 1937), Canadian novelist, authentic, autographed vintage handwritten quotation (AQS). Gordon employed the Connor pen name while serving as a leader of a Presbyterian, and then later the United churches, in Canada. As an author, Gordon sold over five million copies of his work in his lifetime alone.

Extracted from the pages of a 1902 Autograph Calendar book recovered from Orange Memorial Hospital, New Jersey, Howard added the following quote to a page with the printed date of March 21: "'A man's life is all that he has' / Yrs. Very Truly, / Charles Gordon / (Ralph Connor)."

Measuring approximately 7.75 x 5, this autographed quotation is in very good condition, with light toning and chipping along the edges.
