Mary Grant Cramer

Mary Grant Cramer (July 29, 1839 - April 5, 1905), sister of Ulysses S. Grant, authentic, autographed vintage handwritten quotation (AQS). 

Extracted from the pages of a 1902 Autograph Calendar book recovered from Orange Memorial Hospital, New Jersey, Cramer added the following quote to a page with the printed date of February 2: "As I lately gazed upon hundreds of boiling springs in Yellowstone Park, its beautiful geysers, many colored rocks, cascades and waterfalls, I was forcibly reminded of the power and skill of the great Creator of all this scenic splendor. / Mary Grant Cramer."

Measuring approximately 7.75 x 5, this autographed quotation is in overall fine condition, with light toning and a rough left edge from extraction.
