Extracted from the pages of a 1902 Autograph Calendar book recovered from Orange Memorial Hospital, New Jersey, Chamberlain signed a page with the printed date of February 3, "J. H. Knickerbocker / 1902." The signature appears below an original sketch of a snowy scene, capturing a small boat and shed.

Measuring approximately 7.75 x 5, this autographed quotation is in overall fine condition, with light toning, some surface wrinkling and a rough left edge from extraction.
