Dita Von Teese

Dita Von Teese (born Heather Renée Sweet on September 28, 1972), American burlesque dancer, model and designer, authentic, vintage, autographed blue satin corset, the first ever worn by Von Teese on stage. Widely heralded as the "Queen of Burlesque," Von Teese is credited as playing a pivotal role in the re-popularization of the art form. Having developed a love for lingerie and fashion as a teenager, Von Teese studied costume design in college and now has her own clothing line, "Von Follies." A true entrepreneur, Von Teese is a classically trained ballerina, professional designer, model and actress. She's appeared in a handful of MTV music videos; most notably, the video for "mOBSCENE" alongside her ex-husband, Marilyn Manson.

Exquisite Versatile Fashions blue satin corset with alternating panels of white lace accents, featuring silver enclosures to secure the front and the traditional lacing on the back. Interior satin panel features Von Teese's signature in black felt tip. This corset was the Queen of Burlesque's first, harkening back to her earliest performances!

Accompanied by an autographed COA from Von Teese, containing a description of the item as "worn in personal wardrobe as well as early stage," and a lipstick mark, courtesy of Von Teese. Certificate is signed and dated "1/2009" in black marker.
