1861 New York State Assembly, original vintage photograph album, featuring 139 autographed photographs.  Notable signers include Edward Denison Morgan, Civil War Major General and 21st New York Governor, Francis Kernan, a United States Senator representing New York, and reporter Hiram Calkins, a reporter who was present at the deathbed of President Abraham Lincoln and described the deathbed scene, the only one written by a journalist present at the scene.
