Authentic autographed official Rawlings MLB baseball hand signed by Negro League baseball great Norman Lumpkin. Lumpkin has 'decorated' the ball with the following inscriptions "Thank you for your request, Sincerely, Norman Lumpkin" adding Played 1938-1949. Batted Left; Threw Left; Led off entire career; Batting ave aprox. .286; Played for Atlanta Braves & Black Team during World War II; Atlanta Black Crackers 1946-1948." He has also signed again and added the following details on a side panel "Norman Lumpkin 91 Yrs Old - 1919 - Born." A truly beautiful and unique baseball with such a lengthy and informative inscription by this Negro League great known for his blazing fast speed.
The signed baseball is in fine condition and is accompanied by a standard JG Autographs, Inc. Certificate of Authenticity.
