Scott Carpenter

Malcolm Scott Carpenter (b. May 1, 1925), former American test pilot, aquanaut and astronaut, autographed 8x10 photograph. Carpenter is best remembered for his contributions to NASA's Project Mercury, in which he was one of the original seven selected in 1959. He was also the second American to orbit the Earth and the fourth American in space. This original vintage color photo is autographed by Carpenter and in excellent condition, aside from a crease in the lower right-hand corner of the photograph.
