Dr. Rubin Carter, aka "The Hurricane", authentic, autographed satin finish 8x10 photograph of a famous scene of protest for Rubin Carter and John Artis. In the crowd, joining in the protest for his fellow boxer friend, is Muhammad Ali. This photograph is hand signed by both Rubin Carter as well as John Artis.
Rubin Carter, fought professionally as a middleweight boxer from 1961 to 1966. In 1966, he was arrested for a triple homicide in the Lafayette Bar and Grill in Paterson, NJ with John Artis. Carter was determined to have been wrongfully convicted after his second conviction was overturned in 1985, and let free in November 1985.
The photograph is in fine condition and was hand signed during a private signing JG Autographs, Inc. held with Dr. Carter and John Artis in the Spring of 2013 in Toronto, Canada.
