Dr. Rubin Carter (May 6, 1937 - April 20, 2014), aka "The Hurricane" and John Artis, authentic, autographed 16" x 20" photograph. The photograph features a collage of images from throughout the saga of Carter and Artis.
Rubin Carter, fought professionally as a middleweight boxer from 1961 to 1966. In 1966, he was arrested, along with Artis, for a triple homicide in the Lafayette Bar and Grill in Paterson, New Jersey. Carter and Artis were determined to have been wrongfully convicted after their second conviction was overturned in 1985, and let free in November 1985.
The photograph is in fine condition and was hand signed during a private signing JG Autographs, Inc. held with Dr. Carter in the Spring of 2013 in Toronto, Canada.
