Custom 11x14 double matted display featuring an authentic autographed and 'flight flown' vintage commemorative philatelic cover by NASA test pilot Tom McMurtry. McMurtry has hand signed and inscribed the cover with the following details of the flight which the cover was flown on, "Flown Aboard NASA F8DFBW Airplane - NASA #802 - Edwards AFB - 300 KIAS 20,000 Feet - Side Stick Control Evaluation - Tom McMurtry - 4 October 1973." The cover is matted with a photograph of McMurtry standing in front of one of the planes he flew during his test pilot career.
