Edmund Hillary

Sir Edmund Hillary, authentic, autographed large format 12x18 satin finish photograph at the top of Everest on his historic May 29th, 1953 climb. The photograph was actually taken by Hillary and pictures Tenzing Norgay at the top of the Everest peak. No such photograph of Hillary at the peak exists as the only camera which was used at the summit was the camera Hillary took this photograph with. Hillary has hand signed in bold blue felt tip marker during a private signings which JG Autographs, Inc. held directly with him. On May 29th, 1953 at the age of 33, he and Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers known to have reached the summit of Mount Everest.
