Carl Erskine

Authentic autographed official Rawlings MLB baseball hand signed by former baseball player Carl Erskine. Erskine has hand signed in bold blue ballpoint pen on the sweet spot inscribing "U.S. Navy - 1945-1946" below his signature. He has also added the following inscriptions to the side panels "Sampson Navel Training Station for C.V.E." and "Boston Navy Yard" referencing his service during WWII. with the Navy. Erskine was one of the MLB greats who served during WWII with the US Army.
