The Daily Picayune, November 3, 1850, New Orleans. Saturday Morning newspaper filled with an array of interesting content of the era. Includes two postings for rewards being offered for missing slaves. 

In part: "FIFTY DOLLARS REWARD. - Ran away on the 4th October, from the subscriber's plantation, 60 miles above the city, in the parish of St. James, the slave Sannon, 5 feet 6 or 8 inches in height, face and forehead small...light black color and quick spoken...The above reward will be paid to any person returning him to me at the plantation or securing him where I can get him."

In part: "Negroes-Negroes.  Just received and for sale at No. 7 Moreau street, Third Municipality, the largest and likeliest lot of Negroes ever imported by the subscriber...House servants and mechanics. Will be receiving regular new lots regularly during the season."

Fine condition. Rough left edge from removal from a previously bound edition.
