Karl Dane; born Rasmus Karl Therkelsen Gottlieb (October 12, 1886 – April 14, 1934), Danish-American comedian and actor known for his work in American films, mainly of the silent film era, vintage 8 x 10 satin double-weight photograph credited to Ruth Harriet Louise. Karl Dane as Sergeant Diggs. Stamp dated 1927.

Ruth Harriet Louise; born Ruth Goldstein (January 13, 1903 – October 12, 1940), American professional photographer, the first woman photographer active in Hollywood; she ran Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's portrait studio from 1925 to 1930.
Features 'blind' embossed credit stamping. Verso bears original Louise credit stamping, publicity snipe and filing notations. In very good condition with light chipping and creasing to the bottom right hand corner.
