Margaret Bourke-White (June 14, 1904 - August 27, 1971), prominent twentieth century American photographer, original, vintage glossy 8 x 10 photograph. Some of Bourke-White's impressive credits include being the first foreign photographer allowed to photograph Soviet industry, being the first female war correspondent and the first female photographer for "Life" magazine.
A whimsical and rare shot of Bourke-White posing behind the camera while taking a phone call. Verso bears identifying notation in an unknown hand, as well as the stamp, "PM-FILE / APR 11 1941."
In overall fine condition, with scattered surface marks and some dents.
