Neil Alden Armstrong (August 5, 1930 – August 25, 2012), American astronaut and the first person to walk on the Moon, authentic, autograph pencil sketch by Paul Calle. Additionally signed by Calle.
The original pencil sketch was done while the Apollo 11 crew were suiting up prior to leaving for the moon; Neil Armstrong in his "Snoopy Cap" prior to boarding the historic flight on 7/16/69. Michael Collins mentions this in "Carrying the Fire." The prints were signed by Armstrong and Calle at the National Air and Space Museum on December 23, 1976 and were sold there to raise money for the Charles Lindbergh Memorial Fund.
Limited edition, "numbered 416/1000."
