Lyndon B. Johnson

Lyndon Baines Johnson (August 27, 1908 – January 22, 1973), often referred to as LBJ, was the 36th President of the United States (1963–1969), a position he assumed after his service as the 37th Vice President (1961–1963), authentic, autographed photograph signed by both Johnson and wife, Lady Bird as a Christmas gift for longtime White House housekeeper Viola Wise.

Signed "Lyndon B. Johnson" as President and "Lady Bird Johnson" as First Lady, on the mount of an 11.5 x 7.5 inch photograph. Inscribed in Lady Bird's hand "For Viola Wise – with the appreciation and best wishes of all our family – Merry Christmas! 1968." Complete with original matte and frame for a finished size of 12 x 15 inches.

Viola Wise (1905 - 1989), served as a maid at the White House for over 30 years. Known as "Big Mama," she sometimes babysat for President Kennedy's son, "John John."
